Frosty 5k Run & Walk

The Movin’ Shoes Frosty 5K Run/Walk starts and finishes right on the Capitol Square under the glow of the beautiful Wisconsin State Capitol Building. The race features an interesting course that will allow you to see famous Madison landmarks such as State Street, the Overture Center for the Arts, and UW’s Kohl Center. The final approach to the finish line will be inspirational as you gaze up and see the snow-covered Capitol dome.

Get in the spirit this holiday season at the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis at Vilas Park in Madison, WI on Saturday December 10th. Be one of the thousands of runners and walkers who hit the nation’s pavements, pathways and parks this winter to fight arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability.

Jingle Bell Run/Walk® is a fun and festive way to kick off your holidays by helping others! Wear a holiday themed costume. Tie jingle bells to your shoelaces. Run or walk a 5K or 10K route with your team members and celebrate the season by giving.

Click here to register online by Friday, December 2 to save $5 off your registration fee! Registration includes an official event t-shirt and goody bag. Participants registering after December 2 cannot be guaranteed these items.

Vote for your favorite design for the 2012 Frosty 1 Mile Dog Jog T-Shirt Contest.  All designs courtesy of the Madison College Graphic Design and Illustration students, and their class instructor Diane Neukirch. On this contest page we give all designers the opportunity to expose their work and receive votes. The winning design will become the official T-Shirt for the 2012 Frosty 1 Mile Dog Jog and Walk event on February 18th.
