| Description: | http://www.movinshoesmadison.com/docs/2012-Edgewood-Fun-Run-Kids-Club.pdf Edgewood’s Fun Run Kids Club is a group for 7 to 11 year old boys and girls that emphasize sportsmanship and working together. Each week we gradually increase the amount of time the group runs, while learning about health, nutrition, and running basics. We also have FUN with running games and relays! The kids get star treatment at the club pasta dinner held the night before the race at the The Olive Garden! The final session will be at Waunafest for the 5K – Every child will have a running buddy so there won’t be anyone running alone. Everyone gets a race medal! We welcome parent volunteers as well! If you’d like to help at the practices, or even want to be your child’s running buddy for the Waunafest 5K you are more than welcome to join in the fun! |
