 The 2012 Elver Park Fall 5k has been CANCELLED this year due to scheduling issues with the park. Our sincere apologies, we will be back in 2013! When (Race has been CANCELLED) Sunday October 7th, 2012 @ 9am Where Elver Park - 1250 McKenna Blvd., Madison, WI 53719 Course 5K: A very challenging, hilly, and varied terrained "figure 8" 5K cross country-style course through the scenic Elver Park on Madison's West side. Kid's Run: A short fun run through Elver Park that starts and ends near the shelter Prizes and Awards
Pre-Registration Online registration is just $15 and will close at 5:00pm on Thursday October 5th. If you miss it, simply come to the race on Sunday morning between 7:45 and 8:30am but the fee will increase to $20. Race Day Registration $20 cash or check ($1 for kids 12 and under) at Elver Park Picnic Shelter from 7:45am to 8:30am on race morning. Entry Fees: $15 Pre-Race ($1 Kids - 12 and under) through Thursday October 13th $20 Race Day ($1 Kids - 12 and under) Schedule: Thursday Oct. 4 5:00pm - Online registration closes Friday Oct. 5 10:00am to 6:00pm: Packet pick-up at Movin' Shoes for people who registered by Thursday Saturday Oct. 6 10:00am to 4:00pm: Packet pick-up at Movin' Shoes for people who registered by Thursday Sunday Oct. 7 7:45am: registration starts at Elver Park Shelter, packet pick-up for all other registrants 8:30am: 5K Registration Ends! 8:30am: kids' run (starts near shelter) 9:00am: start of Elver Park 5K adjacent to shelter 9:45-10:30 Post race food and beverage at shelter along with awards ceremony, costume contest, and raffle.
