How do we know what shoes you need to be wearing? All of our staff have been trained by experienced professionals, and are able to incorporate their own running experience to properly assist you in finding the right shoe. We check out your walking gait and wear pattern of your old shoes. Then we have you try on shoes that fit in that supportive range.

Things you should know about when coming into our store:

  • Bring in your current running shoes - Our employees are able to tell a great deal from wear patterns and stresses on your old pair of shoes, and will help us to make adjustments and determine which is best.
  • Bring a pair of the socks you run in - Socks can make a big difference when trying on shoes. For example, wearing a thinner sock than what you regularly run with, may give you the feeling that your new shoes will be too loose when trying them on.
  • Tell us your story - our employees love to hear about your running history, injuries, or personal stories. All of this information can help fit you in the proper shoe.
  • Take them out for a run - That's right, we let our customers run with the shoes on our indoor treadmill, or if the weather is agreeable, for a few blocks outside. The best way to know if a running shoe is going to work out or not, is to actually run in it.
  • Choose Function over Appearance - remember that appearances aren't everything, the most important thing when it comes to running shoes, is how well it functions to keep you injury free and running happy.
  • Return Policy - we have a fairly liberal return policy, we want to make sure our customers are satisfied. However, you should know fairly quickly whether or not the shoe you have purchased is the right one for you. :)
